FIREFOX WEB BROWSER

Software Review :

Firefox offers clean design, fast performance, new standards support, and constant improvements?now with a slick, improved download manager.

Clean, minimal interface. Fast performance. Innovative tab implementation. Highly customizable. Good HTML5 support. Good security. Most cross-platform support. Social network integration via API. Syncing for tabs, history, passwords and now Extensions. Graphics hardware acceleration. Built-in PDF viewer. Independent from large vendor. Host of developer tools. Compatible with MacBook Retina displays.

Firefox now gets a refresh every six weeks like clockwork and this strategy has definitely borne fruit: The previous update of the Mozilla Foundation's Firefox Web browser saw a built-in PDF viewer. Before that, faster browsing speed was on the menu, when Mozilla's faster IonMonkey JavaScript compiler replaced the previous version's TracerMonkey for faster Web app performance. Last November we got the nifty Social API, which allows social networks like Facebook to integrate notifications and info panels right into the browser skin. Each update usually brings more standards support and crushes more bugs, too. Let's dig into more of the numerous features and capabilities of this excellent, feature-packed-yet-lean Web browser.
